Jessica graduated nursing school from Midway College in 2002. She worked at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, mainly on a cardiac telemetry unit, for 5 years while attending the University of Kentucky. She graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and in 2007 with a Master's degree in Nursing. At that point she worked for Drs. Enlow & Shahzad in Danville doing primary care with an emphasis on diabetes until 2014. That practice was sold to Ephraim McDowell at which point Jessica chose a different path. She went to work for a company called MD2U that acts as primary providers for home bound patients, and served 7 counties at one point. Although she truly loved that job and the patients, traveling on a daily basis proved to be a little more than she could handle with her family made of a husband and 3 children. After a year, Jessica went back to an office based primary care setting at Northgate Medical in Harrodsburg. Jessica admits that she has been blessed to work with the best providers and staff that she could ever ask for in all locations. But sometimes God has a plan that we are unaware of. It just so happens that the previous owner of The Ready Care Clinic had also worked at Northgate Medical and when she decided to change roles, contacted Jessica about buying the clinic. She is happy to be the owner & operator of The Ready Care Clinic & brings about 15 years of experience in primary care along with her and is happy to serve the walk in care needs of Anderson, Mercer and surrounding counties with ease and compassion.
Leslie graduated nursing school from Bluegrass Community College in 2004. She worked at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center with the majority of her time being spent on the medical surgical unit and cardiovascular/telemetry unit. While working at EMRMC she attended Indiana Wesleyan University, where she obtained her bachelors degree in nursing in 2012. She later returned and earned her Masters Degree in Nursing in December of 2017. She worked part time at St Joseph Berea Hospital during that time on the medical surgical and intensive care units. After graduating, Leslie worked for Advanced Care House Calls where she saw home bound patients as their primary care provider. In 2021, she took a position at Campbellsville University School of Nursing in Harrodsburg as the ADN Program Coordinator in a full time capacity. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family. She is excited to be joining the Crab Orchard clinic.
Linda has worked in healthcare since graduating from college in a variety of settings. She obtained her under graduate degrees in Medical Technology from Cumberland College, Associate Degree in Nursing from Midway College, BSN from Indiana Wesleyan University, and her Graduate degrees of MSN-FNP from Frontier University and a Post Masters in Adult Gerontology Acute Care NP from the University of Kentucky. She worked at the University of Kentucky in the Clinical Laboratory and the Apheresis department prior to her undergraduate nursing career in the Medicine ICU. While in the UK MICU she began her studies in graduate nursing and after completion she began her career as a Nurse Practitioner. She practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in rural Kentucky for several years prior to obtaining her Acute Care NP degree from UK. She returned to ICU to practice as an inpatient provider and practiced there until she retired from full time ICU practice as an NP in 2021. After taking a break from full time employment, she decided to join the Ready Care Clinic to fill in as needed at both locations in Lawrenceburg & Harrodsburg. In her free time she enjoys gardening: flowers and vegetables, spending time with her friends & family, but she especially enjoys being with her young Nephews, traveling and sitting on the beach is one of her favorite ways to relax and unwind. She is an animal lover and currently has a geriatric (near 16 years old) beagle mix dog “Maggie” she has had since she was a puppy.
